Michael Smolyansky, founder and president, Lifeway Foods, Morton Grove, IL, passed away at the age of 55. Prior to founding Lifeway, Mr. Smolyansky was project engineer and department manager of E.J. Little Machine Co., Chicago, IL, for 10 years. His daughter Julie has been appointed president, CEO and treasurer. Most recently she was the company’s director of sales and marketing.
